Matrice IQ (matriceiq.com) offers online cognitive assessments. The pattern-matrix IQ test is anonymous until you unlock your result. We collect an email address at checkout to deliver your result and receipt. Stripe processes payment; we never see your full card number.

We store your test responses, scores, and payment-related records in our database (hosted on Railway Postgres in production). We use Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel, and TikTok Pixel to measure traffic and ad performance. We do not sell your personal information. During any assessment (anonymous until unlock):

• a random session token and, where applicable, which assessment you are taking;
• your response to each item and per-item timing;
• computed scores (composite, band, integer estimate) after submission;
• minimal request metadata (IP address, user-agent) for security, rate-limiting, and abuse prevention.

When you unlock a result:

• the email address you enter at checkout;
• payment metadata from Stripe (Checkout Session ID, Customer ID, amount, currency, country, and similar fields);
• a paid flag and timestamp linked to your session in our database.

We do not receive or store full card numbers, CVCs, or expiry dates.

Through analytics and advertising pixels:

• page views, referral URLs, device/browser type, and approximate location (via IP) as processed by Google, Meta, and TikTok on their systems;
• conversion events we send (e.g. begin checkout, purchase) containing dollar value and an opaque session identifier — never your email or IQ score.

• To score assessments and reveal results you have paid for.
• To store session and payment records in our database.
• To email your result and payment receipt when delivery is enabled.
• To improve item banks and scoring in aggregate across all assessments on the site.
• To measure marketing effectiveness and optimize advertising.
• To prevent fraud and abuse.
• To comply with legal and accounting obligations.

We may email you about new assessments or product updates. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe; we honour opt-outs permanently.

We may add additional tests (different formats, constructs, or lengths) on matriceiq.com. Each assessment will have its own instructions and pricing where applicable. This Policy applies to all assessments unless a supplement says otherwise. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.

We use first-party storage for your session token so you can resume a test or return to your result page. Stripe Checkout may set its own cookies on Stripe’s domain.

We use third-party technologies that set cookies or similar identifiers:

• Google Analytics 4 — site analytics (Google Privacy Policy);
• Meta Pixel — advertising and measurement (Meta Privacy Policy);
• TikTok Pixel — advertising and measurement (TikTok Privacy Policy).

You can limit tracking through your browser settings, ad-blockers, or platform opt-outs (e.g. Google Ads Settings, Meta Ad Preferences, TikTok ad settings). Where required by law, we will present a cookie/consent banner before loading non-essential pixels.

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Card data is collected on Stripe’s hosted Checkout and never touches our servers. Stripe is an independent controller for payment data; see stripe.com/privacy. We receive only the limited metadata listed above and store it with your session in our database.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data with:

• Service providers — Stripe (payments), Vercel (web hosting), Railway (API and Postgres database), and transactional email providers when enabled;
• Analytics and ad partners — Google, Meta, and TikTok, as described above, which may process data on their own servers under their policies;
• Authorities — when compelled by valid legal process;
• Successors — in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this Policy.

Anonymous, unpaid sessions are retained for 90 days in our production database, then deleted or aggregated. Paid sessions, email addresses, responses, scores, and Stripe metadata are retained as long as required for delivery, support, and U.S. tax/accounting rules (typically seven years), then deleted or irreversibly aggregated.

Analytics partners apply their own retention schedules; see their policies for details.

California residents may have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of certain processing. We use advertising pixels that may constitute “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising under California law. To opt out of sale/share, use the platform links above or contact us with “California privacy request” in the subject line. We do not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Although the Service is offered primarily in the United States, visitors from the EEA or UK may have GDPR rights. Our bases include contract (delivering paid results), legitimate interests (security, analytics, improvement), and consent (marketing email and, where required, non-essential cookies). Matrice IQ is not directed to children under 13 (COPPA) and our Terms require users to be 18+. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact info@matriceiq.com and we will delete it.

We use TLS in transit and access controls on our database. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected users without undue delay if we confirm a breach of personal data.

Our providers may process data in the United States. By using the Service from elsewhere, you acknowledge such transfer.

We may update this Policy; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
